MKL Limited to 1 Thread in Anaconda
If you have used the preload trick to use Math Kernel Library (MKL) with an early version of Anaconda, you will find that under Anaconda 4.4 MKL is limited a single thread no matter what settings you enter. The solution is to remove the LD_PRELOAD entry for MKL, log out, log back in and you should be good to go.

昨天學系舉行全體老師會議，其間有好些同事表示不明白現時的學生的想法。
學系的立場一向是不干預學生活動，所以對迎新營籌委組成一向不過問。今年眼見距離迎新營籌委名單截止報名日期只剩四個工作天，學系才答允和作為學生代表的各個系會召開會議，希望協調一個機制，即使將來再次傾莊失敗，同學亦可以自行組成一個後備籌委頂上。當天出席的有兩位老師、學系的行政主任及各系會的代表，絕非閉門造車，有甚麼不可告人的陰謀。
會上討論相當熱切，最後達成的共識是各系會共同推薦一定數目的籌委，同時亦歡迎其他有興趣的同學加入。會上既無談及誰是營主，學系亦清楚表明不會干預迎新營人數和內容，還特意表示樂見某位同學及他當時只有個位人數的團隊成為籌委。
網上指控學系不會作出正式回應，但若同學向學系以至大學其他單位投訴，學系就必須澄清指控與事實不符。若事情發展到那階段，這對同學想爭取的訴求又有甚麼好處？
