I have been quite unsupportive of her decision, asking her to think thrice everytime the topic came into our discussion. Not that she will not look good with earrings&#8211;in fact, the opposite&#8211;but I do not want her doing this for <em>me<\/em>, as if I desire such from her. No I don&#8217;t; I delight at her current beauty in every way.<\/p>\n<p>You must have come back from the operation (if that is to be called one) when you read this.
