Let&#8217;s see what you get if you buy retail instead of online,<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Not the <a href=\"http:\/\/store.apple.com\/hk\/browse\/home\/shop_mac\/family\/macbook?mco=MTE2NjA\">newest model<\/a><br \/>\n&#8211; No <a href=\"http:\/\/store.apple.com\/hk\/browse\/campaigns\/back_to_school?mco=MTg4ODM5Mw\">free iPod Touch<\/a><br \/>\n&#8211; No <a href=\"http:\/\/store.apple.com\/hk\/browse\/home\/education_routing?mco=MTIxODk0Nw\">educational discount<\/a>. Even worse,<br \/>\n&#8211; Might not even get the retail price unless one pays cash<\/p>\n<p>So unless one needs a Mac immediately&#8211;and mind you, <a href=\"http:\/\/developer.apple.com\/WWDC\/\">WWDC<\/a> is <em>tomorrow<\/em>&#8211;it&#8217;s almost certainly a better idea to buy online.<\/p>\n<p>That said, if you really need to buy a Mac from retail, here is my very limiting recommendation,<\/p>\n<p><strong>Great<\/strong> &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newvision.com.hk\/\">New Vision<\/a>.  Friendly staff and most importantly, there are currently offering the old White MacBook for HK$7000!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Poor<\/strong> &#8211; The computer store at the back of Mongkok Computer Center.  Not only do they charge the retail price for the <em>old<\/em> White Macbook&#8211;and only when you pay cash&#8211;the staff is rude and ignorant.
